Zanskar - A Hidden Kingdom

Zanskar nestled high in the Himalaya is a tehsil of the Kargil district in the territory of Ladakh in the North of India. Only accessible to the outside world between April and August it is often referred to as the Hidden Kingdom. It is a land of snow capped peaks, desolate windswept valleys, winding icy rivers, still extant glaciers and Buddhist monasteries clinging to cliff edges or sited upon rocky crags.
